Charred paneer cheese in a creamy spiced tomato sauce. A vegetarian take on the classic tikka masala.
Coat the paneer cubes in the yogurt and some spices and sear until charred at the edges.
Fry the onion in butter and oil, add the garlic, ginger and spices, then the tomatoes, and simmer until thick.
Blend the sauce until smooth.
Add the paneer and cream and simmer until rich.
Scatter cilantro on top and serve with rice or naan.
