A burger and a taco in one. Thin beef patties smashed straight onto flour tortillas, folded up with cheese, lettuce, pickles and burger sauce. Serves 3.
Mix the 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon mustard and a little finely diced pickle into a smooth pink burger sauce.
Divide the 400 g beef into small balls, one per tortilla. Press a ball flat onto each flour tortilla and cook beef side down in a hot pan over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until the edges are crisp and browned.
Flip each one, lay a slice of American cheese on the beef and cook for about 1 minute until the cheese melts and the tortilla is toasted.
Fold each one in half like a taco and fill with the shredded lettuce, diced onion, pickles and the burger sauce.
Serve the tacos folded in a neat row while hot.
