Korean marinated beef, thin and sweet-savoury, seared until caramelized and served over rice. Fast and full of flavour.
Blend the soy, sugar, sesame oil, garlic and grated pear, then marinate the thin-sliced beef.
Sear the beef in a very hot pan in batches so it caramelizes instead of stewing.
Toss in the onion near the end until just soft.
Pile the beef over warm white rice.
Scatter sliced scallion and sesame seeds on top.
