The Thai classic of warm coconut sticky rice served with sweet ripe mango. Simple, creamy and fragrant.
Soak the glutinous rice for a while, then steam it until soft and sticky.
Warm the coconut milk with the sugar and salt until the sugar dissolves. Keep back a little for serving.
Pour most of the warm coconut sauce over the hot rice and let it soak in for ten minutes.
Slice the mango and serve it beside the rice, drizzled with the rest of the sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
